So, I had lots of trouble with this. Vaati refused to work out the way I wanted him to but I finally got him to this point and I liked it. So, I love Vaati c: He's adorable~ One of my favorite Zelda characters out there. I had an idea to draw him but I forgot what sparked it cause it was a while ago >w> Anyways, there's Vaatil reflected in a broken, blood stained mirror... pretty >w>...

it's like he's looking at his own reflection and realizing what he's done and the chaos he's caused.
i don't know why but what goes through my mind is that's link's blood and vaati has just killed him, but looking upon what he's wrought he sees that he's just outright killed a human being. he never meant for it to go this far, he only wanted power to surpass his master, ezlo, and finally be recognized. the power corrupted him and changed him into a demon, now he's looking in horror at what he's become... and he can't take it back. distraught he falls to his knees at links corpse crying begging for someone to help. zelda looks upon the broken vaati with sadness and pity, gently taking the wishing cap from his head and placing it on her own. "my wish..is for peace to reign in hyrule once more, for what vaati has done to be undone, and the land returned to how it used to be" she prays with all her heart as the cap glows in a brilliant golden light enveloping them all. by a miracle everything returns to normal, the castle returns to how it was, the people are freed from their curse, the monsters no longer roam the lands, and darkness has lifted from hyrule. with tear filled eyes vaati looks up at the princess, his form no longer that of a demons...but of the minish child he'd once been before taking the cap. with a gasp link breathed a breath of air, coughing as he sat up "l..link? but i..i'd.." vaati stammered looking at the revived hero in shock. elzo looked upon his pupil, his own curse broken as well and standing in his minish form, turning his gaze to the princess "i'm sorry...this has all been my fault. if i had payed more attention to my pupil i would have realized his distress. please forgive his actions princess." he asked. zelda nodded "i have. and i hope now that all of us can live as friends"
